Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 May 2026

Notice: This Privacy Policy is pending review by legal counsel and will be replaced with a final policy before the platform launches to the public. The placeholder text below describes the intent and scope of our data handling; it does not constitute a binding legal document.

1. Who we are

BusinessOps360 is a SaaS platform operated for Indian SMB service agencies. We are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

2. What data we collect

At signup, we collect your name, work email, phone number, company name, and subdomain slug. We collect this data to create and operate your account, send you verification and billing emails, and — if you opt in — product updates. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Your DPDPA rights

Under the DPDPA you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request erasure of non-statutory data, and file a grievance. To exercise any right, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@businessops360.com.

4. Data retention

Non-statutory personal data is deleted when you close your account and the deletion window passes. Statutory financial records — invoices and credit notes — are retained for the GST-mandated six-year period from the date of issuance, even after account closure, as required by Indian law. This constraint is inherent to GST compliance and cannot be waived by erasure requests.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a self-hosted PostHog instance for product analytics. No data is shared with third-party analytics providers. Cookies are used to maintain your login session and store anonymous analytics identifiers.
